Mitch Gibbs and Rick Mill claimed the modified feature races on Saturday night at Orange County Fair Speedway, and Mill became the first two-time big-block winner in 2009.

It was the first race card at OCFS since an electrical fire on June 17. Repairs were completed on Thursday.

Gibbs won the feature race that was held over from June 13, when rain canceled the last third of the race card. Tommy Meier, Bob McGannon, Chris Whitehead and Jerry Higbie Jr. rounded out the top five.

Meier was also runner-up in the regularly scheduled feature, followed by Jeff Heotzler Sr., Jesse Kline and Steve Dodd.

Doc Young won the sportsman feature, followed by Anthony Perrego, John Ferrier, Jimmy Spellmon and Mike Ruggiero.

John Velde won the pro stock feature ahead of Troy Arnold, Steve Galgano, Bill Pascual and Bobby Schade.

Emerson Cargain Sr. won the holdover veteran pure stock feature, adding to his wins on April 25, May 9 and May 23. He was followed by Marty Van Neuiwland, John Dore, John Hechinger and Mike Vigiletti. Julius Pepin won the regular pure stock feature, followed by Cargain, Hechinger and Dore.

Dave Van Sise won his second amateur pure stock feature, finishing the holdover event ahead of Kyle Pepin, Stephen Kammer, Kenny Reed and Charles Donald. Stan Vishinski Jr. won the regular feature, followed by Matt Burke, Donald, Frank Thissen and Joe Paino.
